Dogs have been domesticated for centuries and have served as protectors and companions, in ancestral paintings we can find them in several Mounts.
Our very own vineyard dog, Montaria, lives in Herdade da Candeeira. The truth is that this German shepherd was born at the same time that the Parras Group acquired land in Alentejo and that is why he stayed Montaria. Today he is the great company of everyone who works at the estate.
In addition to producing world-class wine, Montaria is also committed to philanthropic efforts that support the health and wellbeing of animals.

Ruby color wine, with red and black fruit aromas and a hint of chocolate. This is a well-balanced wine, with soft tannins and good freshness.
Citrus color, stone fruit aromas (plum and apricot) with minerality hints. Fresh on the mouthfeel with a balanced acidity.
